An Elegant Wedding at Casa Lantana

Our Partial Planning Package is an ideal option for the couple who may have already completed portions of their planning and require less assistance than a Full Service Package. This offering is designed to allow the couple a hands-on role in their planning activities along with our professional assistance to guide them along the way.
We met with this couple 3 times throughout their planning process. After our complimentary consultation, we then set up an official “kick off” planning session. We dug deep in this meeting and discussed timeline logistics, vendor recommendations and coordination, floral and decor inspiration, and of course budget. Our second meeting was what I like to call a “midpoint” meeting to ensure the couple is on track. We then coordinated a final meeting to finalize the ceremony and reception itinerary. This includes everything from hair and make up schedule right until the end of the night when the bride and groom depart, and made sure to communicate all timings and logistics with vendors.
Alex and Edwin were a very low key, easy going couple! They wanted to tie in the romantic feel of Casa Lantana and ensure they and their guests enjoyed their special day.
Event styling is the artistic process of mixing shapes, colors, and textures to create a custom and cohesive event look. It’s linens, florals, decor, and dinnerware. It’s table placing, table settings,candle lighting and so much more. It takes time and planning as well as a vision.
We started by making a list of three or four words that described their vibe or feel you want your wedding day to have. Considering Alex and Edwin had selected a private estate with a french country vide, they opted for a southern, romantic elements. Their color palette was the final foundational element of your event design. We then brought these ideas to the florist who did a table mock up with linens, charger plates, flatware, and the florals to see it all brought to life.
Their wedding was right around Valentine’s day, so naturally they selected a color palette of burgundy, blush, ivory with an accent of gold.
